today by a group of people that I spend a bit of time with each day. The question was, ” If you had access to a time machine and could go either back or forward in time, but you were limited to one use only and would not be able to return, would you go anywhere?” It was amazing that more than one person talked about going back in time to prevent a heartbreak or heart ache that had occurred. While some wanted to stop a tragic event that occured, which i can totally understand, others talked about returning to moments before they met a person that effected that in a negative way. A boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse, lover….however you want to call it. Being the confrontational girl that I am, I HAD to argue. Yes, it may be true that that person effected your life in a very negative way, perhaps they cheated on you, hurt you physically or emotionally, or even all of the above. Would making that persons existence in your life simply a memory, or turning them into a mere figment of your imagination really improve you or your life? I don’t think so. The fact is that SURVIVING that person, made you a stronger spirit, gave you a power that you didn’t even know you had!  It may have brought you to a place you needed to be, it may have helped you strengthen another relationship that needed strengthening or it may have simply opened your eyes to the truth that not all people are who they pretend to be, not everyone is genuine or real.

I’ve personally realized that having someone like that in my life, made me appreciate my own integrity that I didn’t even realize that I had until it was placed next to someone who has none,

So would I get into that time machine? Heck YES! With the numbers to the last power-ball in my hand! Cause i wouldn’t change a single thing about who I am or how I got here.
